ANZAC Day services will be held across the Glen Innes Severn region, providing opportunities for community members to attend commemorations.

Glen Innes

Glen Innes Dawn Service

Location: Glen Innes Cemetery, Grafton Street
Time: 5:30 am (commences promptly)
The service will be followed by the unveiling of graves.

Gunfire Breakfast

Location: Glen Innes Services Club, 120 Grey Street
Time: 7:00 am
All are invited to the ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast, hosted by the Glen Innes Services Club for veterans, their families, and guests.

Glen Innes ANZAC Day March and Commemorative Service

Location: Grey Street (near Glen Innes Post Office)
Form-up time: 10:30 am
March commences: 11:00 am
The march will proceed from the Boer War Memorial at the Post Office to ANZAC Park via Grey and Bourke Streets.
Commemorative Service: 11:30 am at the Cenotaph in ANZAC Park.
A RAAF flyover is expected during the service.
At the conclusion of the service, lunch will be provided for veterans, their families, and invited guests at the Glen Innes Services Club.

Deepwater
Deepwater ANZAC Day Service
Location: Deepwater Post Office (Corner of Young and Severn Streets)
Departure from Glen Innes: 7:30 am (by bus or private vehicle)
Form-up time: 8:15 am
March commences: 8:30 am
The march will proceed along Severn Street and Dundee Street to the School of Arts Building, where a commemorative service will be held.
Service concludes: 9:30 am, followed by morning tea.

Emmaville ANZAC Day Service

Location: Emmaville Memorial Hall
Form-up time: 10:45 am
March commences: 11:00 am
The march will proceed along Moore Street, Irby Street, O’Donnell Street, and Post Office Street, concluding at the War Memorial.
